So I opened the tattoo book and saw some new age and pagan related tattoo designs like pentacles, zodiac symbols, moon and stars, and fairies. I thought those were really hip. Finally, we were getting with a plan! Seeing my face light up, the tattoo artist smiled again and stood beside me while I browsed through the picture. He then pointed to a design and said, “I think this particular can look great on your ankle.”

I almost jumped in excitement as I considered the beautiful artwork since I it represented me in many ways than a good. I’m a barefoot free spirit, just like a fairy, who loves wandering in a peaceful dark night gazing at the moon and the heavens which I believe have special powers.
